MindHarp Workshops
Better teamwork, more wellbeing
In MindHarp workshops participants stimulate and practice high-level team-working skills while simultaneously discovering the wellbeing benefits of active play with music. It is a totally unique experience that requires no prior musical knowledge or skill.
Individual - Team - Organisation
Organisations have discovered that offering ‘stick-on’ wellbeing solutions to individual employees makes no difference. MindHarp addresses the individual, the team and the organisation as a whole. Our Team Tuning workshop and follow-ups implement our system, The Harmonic Codes, activating mindsets and behaviours to deliver high-functioning teamwork. We believe in ‘experiential learning’ where the insights and epiphanies arise in the ‘doing’. Our workshops are practical, relevant and immediately applicable.
We know that the real learning happens back in the workplace, so the skills and tools we share are simple, effective and can be practised and rehearsed by everyone individually and collectively.
Progressive work cultures for the 21st centuryes
Employees want employers who demonstrate an authentic commitment to the professional and personal wellbeing of their people.
MindHarp recognises that businesses are organisms bound by interdependence, motivation and shared-goals rather than physical proximity and top-down management hierarchies.
We focus on how people relate to each other and coach and inspire people to:
1 Connect better with themselves; understand themselves better
2 Connect better with those they work with
MindHarp focuses on building emotional and behavioural skills for the workplace that enable individuals, teams and organisations to be stronger, more resilient and happier.
Confident, empathetic leadership
The human aspect of leadership is paramount. It can’t be learnt in a classroom. It has to be practised.
MindHarp teaches and coaches skills to create leadership at all levels. The aim is to create strong and resilient cultures which:
Encourage creative thinking, co-operation and confidence:
1 Nurture a mindset where individuals are empowered and confident to take responsibility and initiative; where there is 'leadership at all levels'
2 Engender a psychologically safe and secure environment where destructive competitiveness, cynicism and insecurity evaporate and are replaced by a more mature, emotionally intelligent, self-supporting, energised culture
Team Tuning
Workshop 1
The goal and purpose of Team Tuning is to learn and practice the interactive emotional and behavioural skills that the highest level performing musicians have to use. These are behavioural and emotional skillsets that can be taken back into any everyday working environment to enhance teamwork.
Don’t worry! This workshop is not about ‘performance’ but rather working together. The approach is experienced and practised through the medium of music using the MindHarp tool, which is accessible to everyone.
MindHarp has distilled and codified these skills into a simple system called The Harmonic Codes.
Tasked with creating a musical story, participants will experience directly the power and importance of The Harmonic Codes. The learning is in the doing. It is fun, energised and totally immersive. As with everything in MindHarp, no musical knowledge or skill is needed.
At the end of the session, work colleagues will:
Have a whole new consciousness of ‘listening’
Will have worked together and created together in a totally new way
Learnt to respect each individuals’ individuality and strengths
Learnt how to take responsibility in the moment, irrespective of status or rank

Wellbeing Through Music
Workshop 2
In this workshop, participants experience and learn how music and musical sound is a powerful and effective wellbeing activity. Through a range of simple and accessible activities, you will build a new understanding of how engagement with music can take you into a state of flow and mental balance.
Working with our preferred model - the 3 pillars of wellbeing (enjoying self, learning self, sharing self) - participants will discover how this approach is a route to self-actualisation. MindHarp practice and play is at once fun and rewarding and intrinsically relaxing. It also requires focused listening and ways of interacting (in duo or group play) which are skills that readily translate into everyday life.
MindHarp play, either solo or with others is a mindful practice that can be accessed anytime, anywhere following the workshop event and a useful addition to regular self-care.
